Poetry and writing always comes best when it is born of experience. We relate to it much better.
Kimi, we all go through big changes in our lives, and I am sure your Dad loves you very much, as I love my daughters with whom I cannot live with.
It could be that his attention is focused elsewhere at this moment in time, but don't worry, he will realise this, hopefully soon, and you will see how he really cares.
Often children don't see the deterioration in their parents relationship, as they shield it from them, so it comes as quite a shock to the child. It's normal. (although the word normal doesn't feel like it fits the situation at the time) Things may get worse, things may get better. But perhaps you can keep busy and help your Mum by not fighting with siblings or parents, keeping your room tidy, not expecting her to run around all the time, and giving her lots of love! I know with me, the little things my children do, count for a lot.
But please, remember, I'm no expert! I'm just older, and age is a heavy price to pay for maturity...
