You pick if you want to do it. You pick out of GCSE IT and GNVQ IT

you can choose it and it doesn't take away one of the 3 you get to pick. its like an extra one you can do if you want. at my school they do it after school, so it doesn't use up any lessons in the day.

In my school you have to do it as an ecdl course but if you choose imedia like i am (its more creative, websites, graphics) then you dont you use ict lessons with ur tutor for ur imedia work.

Some schools have it compulsary but if they do then you have less options. Sorry, but however it works you'll have to "waste" an option doing it.

at my school you dont do it unless you pick it as an option.

At my school, sadly it is I don't want to do it for GCSE however I had to along with around 75% of the year who didn't want to. Grr!!!

My school made it semi-compulsory, they gave it to everyone but if you were absolutely dreadful at it and really didn't want to do it the let you change it for another subject, lucky for me I like ICT

I do Business Communications Systems instead and it is GAY.

i had the option of doing it for gnvq,

did it - was awesome did hardly any work , taught the teacher how to use aload of programes got a merit now in college


it is an Option i recommend
