What is Ventrilo?
Ventrilo 2.3.0 is the next evolutionary step of Voice over IP (VoIP) group communications software. Ventrilo is also the industry standard by which all others measure themselves as they attempt to imitate its features.

In other words, it is like a telephone but much different.

Requirements
-Mic
-speaker/head set
-a brain

Uses
-Pking
-Castle wars
-Chatting it off with friends
-Wireless/sortof.

To get started, go to http://wwww.ventrilo.com.


Click on downloads that is placed to the left of your broswer in the drop menu.


Click download on the one that suites your computer.

I used the Windows i386 - 32 bit version 2.3.0 as an example.
Click save.


I suggest you save it on your desktop for easy access.


Wait for the download to complete within secounds...


Now you should have this window opened. Hit run to begin the programme.


Go threw the download thing and when your finished click finish.


Click this, if you saved it on your desktop and the programme will begin!


When the program opens, hit the arrow beside the first box. A pop-up will open and then click 'new'. When another window opens, set-up a username of your choice. Once your done, click Ok.

Setting up a Server


Click on the arrow with red around it.


Click new and put in any random gibberish you would like. Copy everything from port number to Hostname Or IP. Hit 'Ok' when you're done filling it out.


Once you've clicked Ok, click connect on the main window. It should bring you here. Double click on the section named 'Other'. This shall be our chat at the moment for habbox.

Please do not enter the other sections and chat as they're playing World Of Warcraft and dont want to talk to you mainly.. :8

Thankyou for the comment, been looking into the servers altough I got bugged. Cant be hasseld with trying again, I'll just wait for my friend to come home.

Well I know a server set up I can give out info and people from habbox can talk in the 'Other' section?
