    Default 360 PROBLEM!

I've had my 360 for 6 months and was enjoying a game of 'Hitman blood money' when it all of a sudden turned off, i rebooted and found to my horror the dreaded red rings of death, i immediatley scoured the interenet and found i may have to have a repair, but does anybody know any other way i can fix it?
