Well, this girl said to me once (not directly but to person next to me) 'How does anyone know if they're gay if they've never tried it?' then she started saying how she would consider having sex with a girl to see if she liked it or not.

I mean shes completly right.

Everyone just assumes everyone else is straight. Its completly stupid. Most people are just like 'oh im straight, no question about it'
Yeah there might be urges but im talking about convinced straight people. Still you'll never know if you've never tried it, right?

Doing it has nothing to do with it, if you're attracted to people of the same sex then you're gay (or possibly bi). Going by your rule you'd also have to try every single fetish and every single hole that's available just to check if you like it or not.

Although in teenagers it can change, so they should refrain from classing themselves as gay/straight/bi until they're completely sure that it's not a phase.
