What games should I get? (360)

Atm I've got Pro Evo 6 & Top spin 2

I mainly want good offline multiplayer games, so I can play with friends/family when they are round. I only got 2 controllers atm but i'm going to buy 2 wired ones soon
I do want some single player games though, if there are some that wont get boring after a while.

I'm thinking of getting Rainbow 6 Vegas.. Is it only 1 player though?

Oh yeh, before U suggest me getting xbl, Im not going to for a while mainly because it will cost me £90 (Adapter £55, xbl £35)
I will probably get it once my parents get a HDTV though
Also when I got xbl ill get gears of war

Saints row is a good single player one.

Saints Row is great offline, on single player mode with ultimatly endless action.

The multiplayer on Saints Row is poo anyway.
