I made this thread because I have bought or been given games which I thought would be terrible, but are really great. Post the best under-estimated game you've played

rainbow six vegas yesterday. i only got it because gears of war was out of stock. but it was amazing.

For me, SSX Tricky. My friend told me it was awesome, but I thought it looked so stupid. I finally bought it and I loved it!

Riddick on Xbox. Movie based games aren't supposed to be this good, it was one of the best games on the console.

PES 3 - AGES ago I hate football games but Pro evo is deffinatly one of the most amazing football games I've ever played

whenever i show people videos of it they think it is so stupid but when i invite them over to play it or they choose to buy it they are amazed at how amusing it is.
