Infractions are a log of your rulebreaking - it allows Moderators to keep track of your behaviour on the Forum and if you have a high number of infractions in a short space of time/for the same severe rule break etc, then the Super Moderators/Administrators can ban or caution you according to the number of infractions you have and what you got the infractions for.
