Yea, I was just wondering, how do you bind runes (combine them to make 2)

Im trying to make a mist rune but I have no idea how to bind them, can anyone help me?

I know it sounds kinda newbish of me but I really have no idea lol.

to make say mist rune you take air talisman to a water altar or vice versa, sometimes this technique fails you need a emerald necklace enchanted = binding necklace this ensures it does not fail

Ive tried to take different talismans to different altars but that it doesnt let me in.
