    two numbers x and y have a sum of 16 and a difference of 9 what are the numbers?

    Possible? 13+3 = 16 10 diff

    12+4 = 8 diff

    11+5 = 6 diff

    14+2 = 12 diff

    3.5 + 12.5 =16
    And they have a difference of 9.
