all you need is wired or wireless internet, and you go on wiiconnect247 and scan

Surely that won't work if you don't have wireless internet. You'd need a cable or something?

You can buy a cable for it? I think that's what it said somewhere on the box. Although when you have the cable you need to find an area to plug it in for the internet. Unless you have a line near you?

I read that Pokemon Battle Revolution will be the first online game for the Wii. That's scheduled to come out in March I believe.

To Connect Your Wii To The Internet And If Not A Connection That Uses The Power Off Your Hard Drive Then WiiConnect24 Aswell, You Just Go To Settings Get Your Connection And Bam! Connected. But So Far The Only Things You Can Do Are:

Wii Shopping Channel
Message Board
Trade Mii's
