You need an ethernet cable, you can get it from any PC / Console shop.
You can get it from Game / Virgin / PC World, shops like them

You can use a USB Cable but you would have to plug your modem or router straight into your PS2.
An Ethernet cable will allow you to share your internet with your computer and PS2 at the same time.
