What makes your make what you make? (templates)

Right now we have the confusing title out the way on to the point of this thread, I was just woundering what make you make a sertion design, where do you get your inspriation from and so on?

I rip templates.

Nah.

I usually take things for various templates, and re-create them; and use the knowledge I gained from re-creating, I use to create my own.

Complicated.

I havn't designed a non-habbo template for... ages; but that is because I have been busy and not able to do the above.

Started off, adn when chaing styles do the same, but making one, trying to get it to look like another (the humoursoftware one).

I normally get ideas from other sites, seeing bits that i like and recreating some parts in some way, but not making it look like any site. I then add bits which may be needed and colours. I sometimes base it on the banner
