Hmm smithing :S

What do you reckon is the best thing to get my smithing level up?
Currently i am level 46 smithing. It seems really hard to get up no matter what i do :S

Any help would be great :]

Yer im doing them atm, they don't seem to be doing much apart from like 1 level per 4 hours

mine iron ore, get 1400 ores.
Get from random events/players rubies. Make ruby rings, enchant them
Then make iron things.
Then make them into iron platebodies

I make steel knives and iron knives.
Iron knives sel at 1K 60K

Go to blast furnace, go crazy with iron or steel plates.

What i did while i was training my skill pure was smith each bar untill i could make complete bronze, iron, steel and whatever.
Then keep smithing steel bars and sell for around 600 each, i dont know if the price has changed.
Do it in bulk amounts, or if u really want turn into cballs.
I use to make 10k steel bars, but never got around to turning into cannon balls.

If ur not after money but after smithing lvls, make steel plates if you can. Or just make steel bars untill you can make the plates.
