how do i set up a internet connection on ps2?

how do i set up a internet connection on ps2?
Tried google?
Sorted then
not really still didnt explain that well
oh if its only slimlines im doomed from the start thanksYou get like the Network PIN or something from new PS2s which you use to make your online account, then you order the network set up disc. To actually connect to the internet, you need a standard internet cable plugged into the back. I think it's only slimlines that get online anyway.
i don't know how you did it but my friend set it up at hes when i went there for a few days + it was crap tbh.
not enough people use it + there's not even many good games to play on net play.
EDIT; it's not only slimlines, as net play was out before the slimlines. + my friends ps2 wasn't a slimline.

It's not only slimlines. If you've got a big old model then you need to buy a Network Adaptor to screw to the back of the console (you can get them from games shops for about £20) and then all you need is an ethernet cable (I used the one from the back of my PC) and setting the rest up is pretty self-explanatory.You get like the Network PIN or something from new PS2s which you use to make your online account, then you order the network set up disc.
