rep blocks

you might take this as a stupid idea but i think rep blocks would look funky if they were in different colours. for 100 rep you get a blue block for 200 you get a purple etc. you could go from what i'd go "cool" colours such as blue and purple up to "hot" colours such as red and orange for the more rep you have.
just a daft idea

I don't think its possible to do.

It would be a bit better if the reputation blocks were harder to earn as loads of people have max'ed them out

Increase the rep points per block from block three?

yep, or they should go beyond the shiny green block to a light blue than a dark blue after that, each time they add another column under the green would be blue, then yellow, then orange etc...
