Default Windows Live Messenger Activity Centre for Windows Live Messenger

I was trying to think of a solution to allowing everyone to have their own activities without restricting users to only one, and I had an idea, which has now become Windows Live Messenger Activity Centre.

Basically, you can develop your activities (tutorial coming later) and then add them to the list. Then, when people download the XML, they can access yours, and many others like Uploadz and Washing Machine Project. This is preferable as people are more likely to download if they can do lots with it, compared to if it just does one thing.

You can add your own activity either at http://www.tim-rogers.co.uk/activity or from within Windows Live Messenger once you have installed it.

Developing your applications is easy, and in the XML file all the permissions are enabled so you can do anything from sending files, to sending messages, to intercepting ones that are being sent. For your information, the activity has changed a little since I made the screenshot - now the link is in the name and I added some information to the header.

    Download

    http://www.uploadz.co.uk/514msgrp2p.zip

Extract the ZIP file into your C:/Program Files/MSN Messenger directory. To run the activity, open a conversation, then open the Actions menu - an option called "Start Windows Live Messenger Activity Centre" will appear between "Video" and "Start an Activity...".

Once again it just seems like this is a web browser going to your website, except its stuck to the side of WLM.

But you may find it handy...

AND, it doesnt work when i go to it on Firefox and try to add something.

It shouldn't be doing that, I think it's a server problem. Also, it's not just a browser on the side of WLM, as it allows you to share things with friends over MSN using API commands like sending messages.

EDIT: I've fixed it now - it was a problem with my input sanitization.
