How much would I need to get 40 construction and how long will it take me? My construction is currently at... 1. +Rep for good answers.

If you take some logs to the saw mill next to the lumber yard in varrock near the wild, you can change into planks for a certain amount, so then you can figure out by making a certain thing over n over again how much it would cost.

You get the same ammount of exp per plank that you make something out of, so make something that uses the most planks you can. and get xp,not mke ur house pretty. :p hope i helped!

It cost me around 400k-500k for 35. so maybe 550k-600k for 40.

Wont take that long maybe a few hours tops.

Also, around 500 steel nails, about 300 normal planks, and maybe 750 oak planks (oak planks dont require nails) and you can fail when ur using nails with planks =]

I don't get this... you guys said you just needed planks, but I can't make anything else at the moment. It looks like I gotta go and get steel bars to make a sink or soft clay to make a fireplace to gain levels, to make other stuff. Can't you just make the same things over and over again?

Make bookcases first, then make oak larders.

You need steel nails to make the bookcases. Or iron, but they bend more often.
