ok, i downloaded the wii votes channel and it saysi need to do a system updates can anybody give me a guide on how to do an update. ty

fiddle around work it out but its in the options a few pages along

to get the accutl channel its on the wii shop.

Two ways to do this.
Check your mail and you should have gotten something telling you about the Everybody Votes channel. Open the mail and in the bottom, I think, left hand corner it will say 'Update'.

Also, you can go to your main Wii menu and click on 'Wii' on the bottom left hand corner and then click on System Settings or something of the sort. Then scroll to 'Internet' and click your connection. Click 'Connection Test' and it should say 'Connection successful.' at the end of it. It will then ask if you want to update and click yes to do so.
