Seeing with your fingertips?

I was watching derren brown last night and i remember him doing the thing where he supposedly usies his fingertips to see things. Can anyone tell me the name of this perosn or any useful links because google turned up diddly squit.

if he toched the paper there would be imprints, plus its easly possible, he had a resive in his ear and was simply told, by a member his team who could have been watching the tv recordinsg live from anotehr location, and giving the info needed etc
