I only have 4.7m and i want to get to about 30m, 20 for green mask, 10m for 99 cooking/76 fish

This is my method I used.

Buying Sharks 800EA on forums and sell 900 at world 18 edgeville bank.

1k sharks
You pay = 800k
You make = 900k
Profit = 100k

5k sharks
You pay = 4000k
You make =4500K

OR

Super sets..

Buy of forums 8.5k ea
sell world 18 edgeville 10kea

My way was a little 'noobish' and tedious, but its a start in merchanting.

I looked in world 2, where people were buying/selling mass amounts of things. I noticed that many runecrafters would want pure ess, at 110 each.

I knew i could buy it at varrock east bank on a less crowded world for 90-100 each.

That made me 10-20GP profit on each essence, depending on the seller, which doesn't seem much, but when you get sold around 500 ess at once, thats buying it for 45k-50k, and reselling for 60k, making me more than 10k profit.

It doesn't seem like much, but hopping from world to world 30 mins, got me around 20k ess, buying at mostly 90 each, which made me 40k.

Just look at skills that require alot of 'input' (for example, ores for smithing, or bars even. Or maybe logs for firemaking, or fletching) and look for the buying/selling price on a CROWDED world, and even forums, and think to yourself on how much profit you are likely to make, and how much of the object you are likely to get on a less crowded world.

Remember, think of the BIG picture. Don't think that 'oh, 30 mins is only going to get me 40k'. If you get workers for you, take time talking to them, about bonuses maybe. Stacking up 5 or more workers in different skills, collecting materials from them hourly or daily, stacks up BIG money.
