Magic comp bow

Hey,
I know that a shortbow is faster than a longbow, but... is a comp bow just as fast as a shortbow? I don't wanna buy one if its slow. What would you recommend, magic shortbow or magic comp bow? (If prices were the same what one would you choose?)

I think comp is either somewhere in between, or same as longbow, fairly sure it's slower than short.
But I've never had a comp myself, so can't comment on priority, sorry.

Personally i think mage short is probs best bow in game all round cept for karils x bow
