When I use spells, somtimes they dont hit them?


Why?

I use a staff

Not every spell causes damage every hit, same as when doing melee you dont hit every time, but having items that give +mage bonuses do help

its when your spell splashes. You still get xp (as far as I'm aware) just not as much as a hit

yea 'coz when people do pures with mud staff and curse etc they always splash em but get exp still. Not positive if this works with the fighting spells tho

For damage spells, you still get the base exp of the spell, just no additional exp. (Since the additional exp is the exp based on damage done)

If you don't wanna waste money on chaos (100-150ea) then buy minds, fires and air staff and do fire strikes. (Or fire staff with air runes)

Buy mind runes, mine some rune essence then make your own fire or air runes then buy a fire or air staff depending on which runes you made.

Making your runes will save you money which can be spent on more mind runes.
