    Default Wanting to learn bass.

I want to learn bass guitar and currently I have no experience with a guitar. Do you think I should learn acoustic guitar and the basics before moving onto bass?
Also know any good reliable sites I can get guitars off?

Bass is actually easier than guitar from my understanding. And accoustic guitars are harder than electric.

Bass guitar is easier as you only play on one fret and string at a time.
It'd probably be advisable to get one from a shop, not the internet.

Get a cheap starter bass pack.
They're normally around £120 and include a bass, amp and normally a book as well.

No. Guitar and Bass are two differnt things altogether ... So just go for the bass. I play bass and if your wanting to play rock/metal music Get a bass with a P-Pickup But Jazz Pickup sound nice depends what sound your after .. just go to a shop and ask them to play different Bass's and see which sound you like.. btw the amp makes a Huge Differnece in the sound so Get a decend amp ... because it can make a great bass sound rubbish. Btw I wouldnt recomend the Squier P-bass's They are so cheap .. Even if they are £200 Pound I played one at this club and ohhh boy.... I tried to play at the 12th fret and it was choking *Meaning it wouldnt play the note!* and the sound sucks... Just a warning Btw dont go for one just for its looks

Well he's going to be playing easy stuff either way. I know people who play both guitar and bass, and they all say bass is much easier.

actually, lee said "you only have to play"
you don't HAVE to play bass chords for it to be a bass line, you can use single notes + frets.

+ also, maybe so, but when you get to te same grade in guitar, guitar would be harder.

sexy girls come up to me,
and they always come if you know what i mean.
