Flight Sim screenies (EGHI-EGJJ)

Me and Cody(Easters) flew from EGHI (Southampton) to EGJJ (Jersey). The flight to 45 minutes (which for me were well spent watching TV thanks to AP). Toward the end (Last 10), I took control of the plane. Took her round Jersey toward France to turn around and come into the approach from the east (see art below )

Landing was smooth, one side was off the runway because I got my angles (heading basically) all wrong. :eusa_wall

Was a pretty good flight considering it was my first. Sadly though, no interaction with any ATCs due to there being none at EGHI and EGJJ. I was thinking my landing would be very dodgy (like Codys ) but it wasn't. Cody on the otherhand had a very, obscure wing angle whilst landing. This was his angle:

He was diagonal, looked strange in all honesty.

ye its called crosswind lol, i didn't slow down enough, but i enever went on grass, i went a bit on taxiway but then came back onto runway, I took off first, but cause when I was in-flight, I pressed something, and I thoguh I ahd it paused, and wouldn't come off, but it was slew lol. so landed about 8 minutes after Ross I think.

I had enough time to land, taxi around the airport for a while finding a good place to watch him land.

I'd fly with you guys but Im not the best flyer

I just flew from EGCC to EGLL IFR. All was fine up until the approach. I forgot to take the AP speed off and ended up landing at 290ish

Not funny really.

Maybe you guys could teach me to land? *wink wink*

Lol, that was my first ever landing (I haven't done that tut yet )

It was qutie smooth, just I done the same as you with AP but I left it with heading on instead, so therefore I was off course by accident!

Download squawkbox from www.vatsim.net

Then when installed, click create-a-flight, start in a parking or at a gate (NOT on a runway) then click Modules (in the toolbar [Hit alt]) then Squawkbox, you will need a Vatsim account and a non-free email (aol is a goodone to get (it is free!)). Then click "connect". Enter all details. Then you are online
