Default Should My mum get fined for this..

Well, EVERY day at School, I get attacked of some sort and come home with bruses etc., and I have been getting depresed about it.
And I have had 5 Days off cos of Depresion, and Education welfere are fining my mum £50. Isnt Depresion a illness and a reason to be off school?
And arnt Education Welfere ment to prevent these things from happening and sort it out.

Also, the school know about this and havent done anything about it.

It does seem a little harsh, for a reason like that, I don't see how they can find you so soon, well on assumption it's quite early, or have you missed a lot of school in the past few weeks? Have you thought about seeking specialist help to solve the depression, maybe you should write to the Education Welfare explaining the full situation and how you or they can prevent it.

I don't think your Mum should be fined, she has done nothing wrong and is obviously worried about you which is why she has kept you off school to protect you. I agree with Robo in that you should perhaps think about seeking professional help and your Mum should explain the situation to the Welfare officers because she shouldnt have been fined.

You should have a talk to the principal about this. Anyway, I don't think its appropriate for them to fine your mother. You should appeal. Getting attacked is quite serious and should be dealt with.
