That stupid "good grammar" sig pic

Firstly; it says "Dont you get it?" near the start, leaving out the apostrophe and therefore failing at its own game.

Secondly; when it says "This is a horrible way to type." it seems to be forgetting that through the entire animation it is writing in lots. Of. Short. Sentences. Which is very annoying, and also poor grammar.

Thirdly; it mistakes chatspeak for leetspeak. 'Nuff said.

Fourthly; it says it's from "anyone with an IQ over 50", which entirely fails in its purpose as I (at last check) have an IQ of 150, and I often type in shorthand.

Finally; that bit where it says "type out your damn words" is what really gets me about the whole thing. Surely if they knew that much about the English language they'd have realised that it should read "your damned words", as damn is a verb.


I'm sure there's more I could pick out of this, but making this thread makes me extremely sad as it is. Basically, what I want to say is:

If you have this in your signature, you have failed at life.

that sig is silly, i often type shorthand espec when txting. its easier unless your stupid you should be able to understand abbreviated words. ;l

With most of that, i agree, the sigs annoying as hell, fails in putting over its point, and fails to realize people are making smalltalk on a forum, not a literary works.
