    Default millwall 2-0 carlisle

well, apart from the result, it was a good day out down the london.

set off at 5.30 and it was a fairly quick journey down to brent cross, arriving there at 10.30, although it did take some finding! anyways, took us forever to work out how to get through them barrier things at the station lol but we finally through in the end and got the underground to london bridge, had a few drinks in one of the bars and had a walk down to the london eye/big ben and had a look round. then got the train back from enbankment to london bridge where we were met by loads of the old bill searching people for drugs/weapons. we were let through with no bother and boarded the train to south bermonsdey with a load of the 'wall fans.

again, when we got into the ground, we got searched by the old bill, but were let in with no problems. went up and got our seats with the other 700/800ish carlisle fans who had made the long trip down.

we started well and could have been 2-0 up within 10min but like it has been all season, we couldn't take our chances. and to help the matter, we were only playing 1 up front! the first half ended with both teams just as good, or bad, as each other. second half was more of the same, 2 moments of lazy defending let them through to score on each occasion. thought we edged the game, but they just took their chances when they got them.

after the game, the carlisle fans were led back up the fenced off walkway for the away fans only to meet back up with the 'wall fans back up at south bermonsdey station. there was alot of singing between the fans in our carriage, then when we got back off at london bridge, there was a small group of millwall lads waiting for some carlisle lads on the train so it kicked off when they got off with some bats been thrown etc. but suprisingly enough, the old bill were not present either on the train or back on the platform. was a long journey back but stopped off at a pizza hut on the way back so weren't that bad like.

ah well, good day, **** result.

edit; will post pics/vids later on when i go on the other comp

    nope :p

went from brent cross > london bridge via all the stations in between. then when we walked round big ben bit, we got the enbankment > waterloo (i think? cause part of the central/district lines were closed or something) > london bridge > south bermonsdey

they didn't look that decent side really, their number 4 (dunno what he was called but he were a tall black lad) and darren byfield looked the most threatening.. they've won like 6 of their last 7 games now me thinks.

Something like that a draw against them would be a good result

injured apparently, and agree about the 1 up front but we had no other options really.. but still, i would have stuck johann up front with garner, and stuck lummy on the right instead of the 4-5-1 formation. macca has been far too negative this season in his formations like.. especially at away games.

Hmm never heard anything about them injured , ah well I thought that might have been the case.

And yeah, I only ever think he goes to get a draw when we are away from home. With tough games coming up at home, he's definitely going to have to pull out more attacking performances out of the team.
