Just buy some off eBay. Whilst you're at it buy a metronome - 1 of the most important tools a begginner can use.

It helps to keep you in time with the beat. You have settings for different drumming times such as 1, 2, 3, 4 or 1+2+3+4+ and it will count it in time with a noise so that you know when to play in time - stops you going too fast/slow.

How much you got to spend roughly?

If you have a chance of giving it up then don't buy them in the first place. You need dedication.

why would you ever give it up?
playing the drums is so much fun, once you learn a bit more you'll love it and you'll never quit.
