When I hear it I think of lazy people on beaches not doing much, wearing thongs (shoes) and shorts.. I also think of long beaches and stuff..

first thing that comes to my mind are kangaroos and koala bears.

after that i start thinking of the large deserts in the middle of australia for some reason and how big the country is.
