Layout Basic Template

I got bored so I just started making a layout in paint. This is my very first basic template I have done. If anyone wants it to work on then they can feel free.

It's not that bad for your first layout but here are some suggestions:

-Don't make it so dark! Lighten up some of the colors.
-Add a thin "recent stuff" box on the left hand side of the main grey area to try and fill up the space better
-Maybe add another actual box for the main content within the grey box

But overall pretty good for a first timer!
