Should i or not .. ? Or Ideas?

Well recently my life on the pc has been SOO boring.

So i was thinking the other day of a site i could make . Since i have a bit of spare cash. Basically, im an Anime fanatic and im really good at Anime fan art and stuff. So should i make a site which relates to that? Like a drawing site.

People can submit their drawings and they get rated. There could be prizes eventually and a full User System etc .. I have no internet access for a weej which should give me time to draw some stuff.

What do you think ? Would you visit? In your opinion would it be popular?

Any ideas?

By the way it would be a non profit site so no paying for ANYTHING no advertisements etc.

OH and staff who post pictures which are good, may eventually get paid for their work.

I like the idea.

Personally I'm not an anime fan but I know many who like to draw and show their work to others. This is a great idea.

I wouldn't visit (because I'm not a fan) but I'm definatly sure that it will get popular and many hits.

Sites that aim to be popular usealy fail, sites done becuse you want the site and think it would be a cool thing to have, tend to work quite a bit better.

I'm not into anime, but it sounds like a good idea. I think the main obstacle would be advertising the site to your target audience, so if you can do that then go for it!

Precisely Carl, personally I hate the idea.. But that's personal.
Then again, I hate governmental research, animal testing, Bebo MySpace..
Soyou've got alot to conted with.. of all the sites I hate thatsone of the better ideas. I advise Joomla/PHPNuke/Nucleus CMS

Ha! Im seeing Trivium April 22nd.. (I think?)

I was just going to use a simple upload system where the images are verified by staff before being uploaded. Just incase certain individuals feel the need to upload rude pictures .
