    Have You Got Habbo Talent?

Have you got a gift for comedy? A passion for performing plays, or an addiction to the Habbo dances? Then this could be your time to shine!

We in the Habbo UK Bunker have know for a long time that our Habbos are a talented bunch, but now we're giving you the chance to stand up in the spotlight and see if your fellow Habbos think you're the cream of the pixelated crop!

Today we launch the Habbo Talent Spot. For the Easter holidays this year we want to give you the chance to share your creativity with the world - we're going to let you entertain us.

On Monday 2nd April we will begin the open auditions. At these auditions a panel of judges, including Habbo Staffers, will choose users who we think show the necessary strengths in their category to go forward for the first round of the finals - which will take place on Thursday 5th in the Theatredrome. All entries in the semi-final will then be entered into a vote on site and the final 6 - those with the most votes over the weekend, will get to perform again on Tuesday 10th in the grand finals. All performances will then be put to a public vote again - although a panel of Habbo Staff will also give marks and these will be added to the vote totals.

The winners will be announced onsite on Friday 13th (soon to become lucky for some..?) with an after party for all those who managed to get a spot in the semi finals.

    The 4 categories:

    Poetry
    Dance troops
Acting (must be performing an original piece)
    Comedian/comedy routine

The Poetry, Comedy and Acting categories are for individual performers. Comedy groups and Original plays being acted out by a drama group will also be considered (note: all performances must last no more than 4minutes)
Dance contestants must enter as groups and will be judged on their ability to work together to create routines.

4 performers/groups will be selected from each category to enter the semi finals. The 6 performers/teams with the most votes will go through to the grand final.

For those of you who use your creativity in a more practical genre, this week we're running a room building competition - do you fancy hosting the Habbo Talent Spot?

The Talent Spot auditions will be held in rooms themed for the category they host. The creators of the winning rooms will sit on the panel judging that category's performers, so be sure to build your room to suit the category you'd like to judge!

Each Category requires two rooms - the audition/performance space and a waiting area for other Habbo's waiting to audition. Waiting rooms will need a queueing system to ensure that Habbos are seen in the right order. These rooms do not need to be designed/created by the same person and we will provide the teleporters to link the rooms.

To submit a room for use in the Talent Spot send a screenshot and you're Habboname to:
    Email: [email protected]
Subject message: 'Talent Spot Room -' followed by the type of room.
For example, if you wanted to submit a waiting area for the comedy category you're subject would read: Talent Spot Room - Comedy, Waiting.

All room submissions must be received by midnight Sunday 1st April. Winning rooms and audition timetables will be announced on Monday 2nd.

    Did you know?
5 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions.

In a war the rightous side always wins. In a war the winning side chooses who was right.

I could ask you to leave your name if you -rep me but since you wont have a real reason to - rep me I will just say:
    Don't give me pointless rep.
