Episode 24 - Ending

Jack, still struggling to get past the shock of who he's seeing, climbs in the passenger side as Person TBD gets behind the wheel. As the car peels out, we... FADE OUT

Episode 17

Karen and Shandra have taken Wayne out of his coma to stop Noah from releasing an attack on fayed's country. When wayne retakes office, he seems to go ahead with that attack and launches a nuke at them. That is sometime in episode 16.

At the beginning of 17, while the nuke is minuets from impact, karen and tom and begging wayne to stop the attack, but he doesn't. Then the ambassador calls wayne and eventually gives up information about a general Mohmar Habib, who has been in contact with fayed. The ambassador says that they have started interrorgatting him and wayne then calls off the strike. Karen and lennox realize that they were hiding that info the whole time. Wayne will reveal that he tricked them with a fake warhead. Go wayne!

Meanwhile, Fayed escapes again, but jack is right with him by himself. Fayed goes to his safehouse. Jack does his thing kill all the badguys and fayed and rescues the nukes. Then he gets the call from cheng and audrey and the show ends. He tells jack to call cheng back in 10 minutes if he wants audrey to stay alive.

Episode 18

So you found out there was some accident, and the goverment was led to believe that Audrey died in it. But now you find out that Audrey didn't give up on jack in the past 2 years, she went to china herself and got captured.

Cheng wants Jack to get the detonation chip from one of the 2 nukes which would allow the Chinese to "decrypt certain codes the Russians have successfully kept us from breaking". Jack realizes the russians would know the U.S. gave them it and would start a war with them.

Jack: Let me talk to Audrey
Cheng: You've already spoken to her
Jack: I want to know that she's all right
Cheng: Her well-being is entirely up to you, Mr Bauer. If you tell anyone that she is alive, or of our conversation, we will kill her.
Jack: You staged her car accident. Led my government to believe she was dead.
Cheng: Everyone had given up on you, Mr Bauer. Everyone, except Ms. Raines. Over the objections of your government, her family, and her friends, she came to china, just to find you. Since you proved to be a distinctly uncooperative prisoner, we felt she was an asset we might be able to exploit one day. That day is here.
Jack: What do you want
Cheng: At this moment, ctu is securing the tactical nuclear eapons you've just captured
Jack: Your government already has nuclear weapons, more advanced than these
Cheng: We are not interested in the weapons, Mr. Bauer. What we want is a component from the triggering mechanism. The fb sub circuit board.
Jack: Why?
Cheng: It contains an algorithm, one that will enable us to decrypt certain codes the Russians have successfully kept us from breaking. My superiors have agreed to exchange Ms. Raines for the component.
Jack: The russians will know it came from us. It could start a war
Cheng: Whatever diplomatic crisis it might create will be contained easily enough.
Jack: The nuclear weapons are under military control. even if i want to, i cant get near them
Cheng: You'll find a way, Mr Bauer
Jack: All right, but only if you let me talk to Audrey. right now.
cheng: Very well....Speak to him
Audrey: Jack?
Jack: Audrey, are you all right, did they hurt you
Audrey: No i'm fine. Jack i'm so sorry
jack: Its going to be okay
Audrey: i know they're using me to force you to do something. but i'm begging you, don't let them.
jack: Audrey, i'm handling it
audrey: What do they want
jack: Its not important. all that matters is that you're alive. and that i'm hearing your voice again. just know that I'm going to get you back. and know that I love you.
audrey: I love you, too, Jack.
cheng: You have one hour to call me on this number when You're ready to make the exchange, Mr Bauer. Ms Raines and I will both be waiting
jack: Cheng, listen to me

Cheng: You've been on a long and difficult journey, Ms. Rains. Hopefully your persistence will be rewarded soon.


Anyway, with the help of Chloe, Jack does his thing again and takes out 3 CTU agents gaurding the 2 nukes. meanwhile Morris finds out whats happening, forcing Chloe to tell Bill whats happening too. Doyle and CTU agents capture Jack. Jack calls Wayne and tells him that the chip will never get to the Chinese. Wayne eventually gives Jack permission to be freed and have help get Audrey back.

Only Wayne and Jack know, that the way Jack is ensuring the safety of the chip is for Jack to blow himself up with c4; blowing up the Chinese and the chip after Audrey is safe.

Jack puts some c4 on him, and Doyle is driving him off.

So then Wayne gives a press conference about securing the nukes, but in the weak state that he is, he collapses again and is unconscious. Noah Daniels becomes president once again, and orders Jacks arrest not knowing what Wayne knows.

Bill calls Doyle and tells him to arrest Jack. But Jack, being Jack Bauer and all, knows something is up will the call, and secures Doyle and tells him "This morning I shot and killed an agent I worked with for years, a friend, to save the life of a terrorist. If you think i won't do the same for Audrey, you're wrong." then leaves on his own again.

How did you find out about all these spoilers. I read it by accident not reading title of this thread && then I realized what I did && when 24 came on the next week, I knew exactly what was going to happen. Jack killed Fayed && all this stuff. He talks to Audry because she's alive. I was so angry! Now I read the title of the thread.

Omg, why are they firing Bill. He rocks. I love that Guy. He never actually smiles its mint. How dare they, its obvious that its going to be a big mistake and they have to re-instate him >hopes<.
