AFK
BRB
BBS
AWAY
and stuff like that so then people know your away etc.

No, That would be frustrating!
I think you should be able to have a private list so when your n BRB only people in your F/L and if they are on your private list should be able to msg!

Or perhaps you could do it the standered way of editing your mission to "brb"

Or maybe when you click the charecter and of course there name is on that stand thing on the right corner. instead of Callie it could be <AFK>Callie
