Runescape help...Minime? Anyone?

Just started runescape today just wanted to know a few things some of you can anwser..

Is there site much like habbox where u can see the value of things? someone gave me 150 gp for 3 cow hides i dont no if thats good or what =\

Where can i aquire weapons/ armour etc all i have is dagger sword shield Fishing net and pot and a bunch of chickens feathers and stuff.. I need help and lots of it possibly donations?
