    ok I tried that hex code but it isn't the same colour that is suppose to go the content in the middle...

    When you slice a layout, it goes darker. What you need to do is get a bit of the layout that has been sliced that is the same colour that you want to put in the content boxes then add that as the background. I dont know if that makes sense but i know what i mean lol!
