Ok on this game when you want to play a live game and you go onto "custom match" you can then invite friends on your list to play. However when I try to invite someone the option is grey & it won't let me invite them.
Do you BOTH have to be in a particular part of the game so that you can play each other live? If so what part? Do you both have to be in the "custom match" area or what?
I havent explained this very well but if someone knows what I mean & can help I'll give rep and a big thankyou cause this is getting right on my nerves!

I kinda know what you mean. Make sure you're in a lobby or w/e and make sure there's enough room for them. If there's someone else there try and ask them to invite your friend.
This happens on Rainbow Six when the host cant invite people for some reason.

certain games have this problem. i've never been able to invite anyone to a game on pro evo 6, and i've tried everything.
