is there anyway to stop this

anyway I pierced my ear on my lobe again on wednesday, i've done it 5 times before and never came across this, but its swollen so badly today that I can barely keep the back of the earring on, there isn't any puss so I don't think its infected, its also pretty painful, I sterilized and did it properly like i've done with all my other ones, is there anyway to stop the swelling and pain w/out taking the earring out?

i did this once
and it was really swollen
but it went down aftr about 3 days
