how does habboforum.com have a news bot that posts the latest news in a specific forum can anyone tell me the mod for ipb?

Well its quite simple to do, although im not sure how exsactly they have done it, Simplist method would probably be to have an rss reader setup with some decent feeds, then run the script by cron every so often, and then call the relevent functions form the forum source to make a user post in the nessary places o.0
id check invisionize (for ipb) or the relevant vb place for a mod before bothing to write one out yourself.

Well no doubt there will be a simple script out there where you can insert various feeds and it will do it all for you.

On vBulletin 3.6x I believe,
There's a new addition.
You can have a user (as a bot) post articles from a RSS Feed (in this case, it's probably habbo).
So if you ever get vBulletin, you can add the Habbo RSS Feed or something and then make it grab articles from the feed and post them on a selected foum.(DJ-Chad's signature here)
