    17 April 2007 - Wilderness Ditch

    Up at the border to the Wilderness you will notice a small change this week. Far too easily have people mistakenly entered the dangerous lands of the north and so, with spades-united, a ditch has been dug!
    You will now find that to enter and exit the wilderness you have to hop over a small ditch (no Agility level required). There's a safe zone just north of the ditch, so you needn't worry about getting over the ditch quickly.
    Careful you don't trip!
    In other news...
    Easter has come and gone, and with it the Easter Bunny has gone back to his mysterious home to prepare for next year's (hopefully) mishap-free chocolate festival. As a result, we've taken down the Easter Event. Don't worry if you missed out on it, there will be another holiday event for Halloween!

    Teleporting



    Up to level 30 Wilderness, an amulet of glory may be used, and a ring of life will save you if activated. Other forms of teleportation can only be used in level 20 Wilderness or below. The only exception to this is the use of levers or any form of natural teleports found in the Wilderness. They can be used throughout all levels and areas of the Wilderness. Please note that the ring of life has certain conditions for use; it will not always teleport you away from battle if you're outmatched in a fight. If you go to under 10% of your health, it will save you and teleport you. If a final hit on your character is greater than 10% of your health, you'll die as normal.

    Some mages will use a spell known as 'Teleblock', which will prevent you from teleporting for five minutes. This covers all forms of teleporting mentioned above including other methods such as teleport levers.
