Default adding a video clip to webpage

I have made a mini site for one of my mates to put his video clips on. He currently uploads them to youtube and uses the embed code from there, but as youtube has now been blocked in my school, i am searching for a code to embed the video from the /vids folder onto the webpage.

It is a .wmv and does anybody know the code?

Take the youtube code and edit it a bit? Not sure if it will work:s.

    Code:
    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="Url here"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="Url here" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Or upload to a site like:
    www.dailymotion.com

You would be best converting them to .flv first, so I would just save the youtube player and upload it.

youtube automatically converts the file to .flv so it plays in the youtube player (made in flash). Upload the video to your webpage and embed it normally.
