    Default Feeling sick/aches & pains

Okay, it all started on Sunday when I felt like, all bloated and I didn't want to eat anything. I thought I had it because I was hungry, so I had some dinner and felt even worse, so I tried some of those activia yogurts for bloated stomachs and that didn't help at all. I then started shivering, despite even being cold. I had some paracetamols and all night on sunday/early hours on monday morning I was being sick several times and had to go to the toilet several times too. I hadn't been sick since I was a baby. All I did yesterday was just lay on the sofa watching TV. I couldn't be bothered to do anything as I had aches and pains all over my body, and I didn't eat anything either. I haven't been sick though again like I did on Sunday night/Monday morning but I do feel sick now. My mum and dad think it's a bug I picked up from somewhere, and I don't really think going to the doctors is a good idea because they'll probably just confirm it as being a bug and just advise me to take some paracetamols and rest. Any suggestions on what I should do? Much appreciated.

it sounds like what i had when i caught a stomach bug last year & it lasted for like a week.
i would try to keep eating, and keep drinking, and hopefully it'll just go away like mine did. i also found that no pills/tablets worked.

hope you get better soon {: (L)

Thanks. Trouble is, I'm not very hungry or thirsty so Ill just try a snack or something to start me off. (+rep)

yer, that's what i was like, i found when i did drink/eat it was the drink that did more harm than the solids. cause i just couldn't keep liquids down, but just keep trying cause you need to keep hydrated {:

Yeah. My mum says taking paracetamols on an empty stomach will make me feel worse than ever. Cheers again.

If you take indigestion tablets, and then go toilet, it should make you feel a bit better, then just go on a ruffage diet for a few days.

    (Weet-a-bix, Oat-a-bix, Shreddies and Porrige.)

And just drink loads of water, you should be fine .

Just take some food that is easy on your stomach [e.g. porridge], drink lots of water, and rest

I had this a couple of weeks ago & i simply just HAD to bed rest because I was physically incapable of moving or doing anything. Also try to eat good food which isnt likely to provoke sickness e.g. toast

    Hope you feel better soon
