Well i got this mic,

And it wont work it says its plug and go but it wont work with Skype or anything :S,Can someone help?

control panel > sound and devices > volume > advanced.
Is mute ticked under Mic?

Hmm my microphone headset comes with two cords attached one is yellow and has a headphone symbol on it and another which is pink and has microphone symbol on it... find the lead which has a microphone on it then at the back of your computer find a slot to put it in.. on mine it has a pink lining around the hole and has the same sort of microphone symbol on it. Put it in there. Just incase it help its the 3rd one down on my computer
