bad teeth

well ive got really bad teeth. ive got some teeth that are my third set, so they grow over the top of the old ones. and the dentist wont pull any out or give me braces beacause my gums arnt strong enough. i brush once a day, and i always forget to brush twice(she says i need to do it four times) so is there any other way of strengthing my gums? i have to go back in june for a checkup
