    Default [REQ] Iframe tut

    Before anybody says ive searched the forum but found nothing,

    Does anybody have a tutorial on how to code iframes in frontpage/dreamweaver?

    Also, please move if in wrong section, thanks

    Dont work, all tables go dodgey whenever i put the iframe tag into the content box

    and when it does work, the links dont refresh the iframe, it the whole page Oo

    Well, yes it does work as that's the only solid iframe code you'll find on the internet.

    Well it reloads in a new window because you have to put
    <iframe name="Iframe1"></iframe>
    <a href="page for iframe" target="iframe1">Link writing here</a>

    that will mean when someone clicks the link it reloads in the iframe not the whole page.

    Iframe Tags
    Start with
    HTML Code:
    <iframe
    DO NOT CLOSE THE TAG!
    Then Put
    align - Where the Text goes in the iframe (Options: bottom, left, middle, right, top)
    class - The Style Class
    frameborder - The border around the iframe (Options: 0,1)
    height - The Height of the iframe
    id - The Style ID
    name - This is used for the targets of the links you use
    scrolling - If you want your iframe to have scrollbars (Options: yes, no, auto)
    src - The page that the iframe contains wen loaded
    width - The width of the iframe
    Then Put
    HTML Code:
    ></iframe>
    Links
    HTML Code:
    <a href="LINK" target="NAME OF IFRAME">Text</a>

    you can just go on design on frontpage click where you want the iframe and then go to insert at the top where file and stff is.

    Make it bigger by dragging on the edges.

    double click it to edit it
