Maplestory problem

So, whenever i try and play it, i pick the server and what not, and i start the game, and after about 5 minutes, i get a message saying it couldn't connect to the server or something, and i keep trying, but i keep getting the same thing and its probably something really easy, but what do i do to stop it and stuff? +rep.

ah, i had this problem.
there was a gamguard error a while ago folliwng and update
it took me ages to fix it

go to the official site www.nexon.net and then there should be a link to a thread on the forum about the gameguard error
read that and follow the instructions


if that doesnt help, no idea what it is.

Anyway, like i said, when i start playing it, i go back to the login screen after abotu 5 minutes, and it says it cannot connect to the server, and when i log in again, it just does the same thing again, and i tried abotu 10 times, and it just did the same thing. But, i did what that scotesh guy said, so i'll try it now.

I just went on to see if it worked, and it lagged and i just got the same thing as last time, but it was about a 2 minutes into the game
