I like that best really to the temp is pink and black lol so the first wouldn't go

They are both really nice. I do like the seocnd one more.

For the first one, try a different font or add some depth to it, I believe its called "Bevel/Emboss"?

I can't say, due to the fact it depends which kind of your are making. In general I think the second one as the colours contrast well.
