Session Stealers

Hey everyone,

Over the last few days we have become increasingly aware of a large number of people using "Session Stealers" to scam people.

Basically, it sends the person who used the link some information about your session, allowing them to exploit the information for their own purposes.

We urge all our members to be careful clicking on links, and not to click on links that they do not trust, as this is the primary way session stealers are circulated. A good deal of the session stealers are routed through tinyurl . com, so please be extra wary of any links originating from that site.

Habbo is reportedly working on patching session stealers, so until then please do be aware and be careful when clicking on links, and only click on links you trust. If you come across someone who has posted a session stealer, please report it or PM a Super Moderator immediately.

We are also looking into filtering certain terms to make it harder for people to post session stealers on Habbox to make the forum safer and will update you on any measures taken.

We encourage all users who think they may have clicked on a session stealer to change their Habbo password and email ASAP as a safety precaution.
