But on his release, he discovers his younger brother is heading down the same extremist path, and tries to stop the teenager from repeating his mistakes. Controversial, violent drama, boasting a perfectly judged cast including Edward Norton, who deservedly received an Oscar nomination for his incredibly powerful performance. Also starring Edward Furlong, Avery Brooks, Fairuza Balk and Stacy Keach.

Well with not paying much attention I might've missed it, but I'm sure there's a point where you see the police come after he does it, along with Danny shouting out. I don't remember hearing that.
